 7/4   7/4    Fourth of July Beach 'n Boardwalk Patriotic Run/Walk 
Wildwoods Convention Center. Registration begins at 8 a.m. Race starts at 9 a.m. The 5K Fun Run will begin at the Wildwoods Sign and travel North to the Wildwoods Convention Center and then down the boardwalk extension to the beach. The route will run South and continue on the hard packed sand to Primrose Avenue in Wildwood Crest, looping back to the Wildwoods Convention Center for the completion of the race. The 1 Mile Walk will go down the Wildwoods Boardwalk to Cresse Avenue and back to the Wildwoods Convention Center. Medals will be presented to the top 5 male and the top 5 female finishers. All funds raised from this event will be used to help maintain the Wildwoods Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. Rain or shine. The Patriotic Pooch Parade will join in the march of the Independence Day Parade through the island at 8th and Atlantic Avenues in North Wildwood.  7/15   7/16    Morey's Piers Beach Foot Golf 
Morey’s Piers is happy to conduct one of the only FootGolf sand tournaments in the U.S.! Held on the beautiful beaches of Wildwood, NJ, between Schellenger and Spencer Avenues, FootGolf is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, combining the two popular sports of soccer and golf. The main goal of FootGolf is to kick a soccer ball into a hole with the fewest number of kicks possible. Since the game will be taking place on the beach, each hole is designed from sand and athletes will use soccer balls on a sand golf course with 21-inch diameter cups. The rules largely correspond to the rules of golf in that there will be 18 holes with tee boxes, bunkers, hazards and greens. No golf clubs needed - just a soccer ball and your foot to play!  7/21   7/23    Pro Footvolley Tour Wildwood ~ NEW! 
Come out and join the fun as the 2017 Pro Footvolley Tour comes to Wildwood for an epic international competition featuring Team USA, Brazil, Italy, Argentina and Paraguay. Footvolley was a demonstration sport at the 2016 RIO Olympics where players use soccer touches only on a beach volleyball court. The sport, as its namesake, is a mix between football (aka soccer in the US) and volleyball. All attendees have the chance to be featured on international television! The event will be recorded and streamed live around the world, as well as available for pay-per-view and in the fall on a major sports network in the US. July 21, 6 PM-9 PM, July 22, 3 PM-8 PM, and July 23, 4 PM-7 PM. 
 7/22   7/23    Battle on the Beach Flag Football Tournament 
This awesome summer Jersey Shore beach event features 5 v 5 beach flag football for both boys and girls 5 – 17 years old. THE TOURNAMENT: Games are 5 v 5, minimum 7 players and maximum 10 players per team. Games consist of 2-20 minute halves, games start on the hour. Substitutions will occur on the fly. Fields are 30 yards by 40 yards plus 5 yards for each end zone. Nylon webbing staked at the 4 corners and cones will delineate the fields. Each team will play 3 games (weather and other unforseen conditions permitting) with a 4th possible for those advancing to the finals.
